Different Brands of Air Dry Clay:

DAS AIR DRY CLAY – https://amzn.to/3rgW1TB
One of the best brands of Air Dry Clay, whilst also being very affordable. DAS clay has tiny paper fibres in it, creating an internal bond which makes for a strong sculpture.

LA DOLL- https://amzn.to/3uj14F0
Probably the air dry clay on the market, used by many doll makers as it’s especially good for fine details. The only downside I’ve found is that it is difficult to find in some parts of the world, including Europe.

JOVI – https://amzn.to/3APoVNQ
Soft and smooth. Generally easy to work with, though harder to achieve a high level of details. Very Cheap.

FIMO AIR LIGHT – https://amzn.to/34sWoRV
Extremely lightweight and soft. This particular type of Air Dry Clay can be dried in the MICROWAVE.

  1. 😱 That is gorgeous work and teaching demo. You are an “art angel” from the heavens. Thank you x a trillion !!!

  2. Great info on drying. Thank you.
Question-I have watched Artist use air, dry clay and molds, then apply to a Christmas bubble right away With a heavy duty glue. When I watch them, it looks like they’ve painted it right away. Then let it dry then sealed it. Just wondering if you’ve ever done it in this order.

  3. Spent the whole video trying to figure out the accent. Like Kiwi, maybe South African didn’t pick Dane. Awesome videos. I’ve just discovered this channel definitely dropping a sub

  4. I can’t wait to try these tips! Thanks for the video. Could I ask where did you get your cardigan with the bug-print on the zipper from?:)

  5. Me: (taking notes) 😅 Omg I really need to try the SLIP thing. Funny enough I forgot the aluminum foil but I did get wire 🤣 I got a quick question…I don’t have a drill to twist the wire so can I still use it as is? Like maybe doubling the wire and using masking tape so the wires stay together? Or will using the tape be an issue when covering it with clay? Omg I said 1 question and I think I threw 3 in here. 🤣

  6. Hiii I just started doing air dry clay and omg let me tell you thx this vid helped so much and it was so easy to understand everything and now I have made a sculpture myself 🤩

  7. This was probably the most informative video on air dry I’ve found so far. Thank you for the tricks and tips! This is a new hobby for my kids and I & it seems we are doing everything wrong. 😳 I’m sure the more we try the better we’ll get. Look forward to more videos! 😊

  8. Can you use a spray shellac? I have lots of students to help and it may save time? This is just wonderful thanks so much!

  9. If you want to do something to the underneath of a sculpture then leave it sat ontop of plastic, the top will dry and the bottom will stay moist.

I like to add my artist name or logo depends on the size of mine so that if I decide to sell them then it can be linked back to me.

  10. Çalışmalarınıza bayıldım.Çok açıklayıcı bilgiler vermişsiniz. Paylaşımlarınızı takip etmeye başladım. Türkçe dil desteği olduğu icinde çok sevindim. Teşekkür ederim..❤

  11. Amazing video ! it is super well explained and your english is easy to understand, and you give a lot of advice for tools it is really nice of you. It’s so good to the point i feel like i could achieve the same piece as you first try (which obviously wont happen because it doesnt work like that 🤭)

  12. thankyou so much for posting this video….i bought an air dry clay but i did not know how to use it until now so tysmmmmmm

  13. Wow! I’m a beginner and loved the master class!!! You are good creating and TEACHING!!! Love from 🇯🇵. Checked your channel: amazing! Thank you for sharing your knowledge, experience, creativity … definitely subscribing 😉🕊️🙏🙇🏻‍♀️🇯🇵

  14. I’m super new to sculpting so most of this was new to me! I had no idea you could use sandpaper to smooth it. Thanks for the great tips!

  15. I almost FF through the "scoring" before adding a piece part. Because I know what scoring is, I do it with wood when gluing. But I’m a sucker for accents AND everything else you were saying was truly good info, so I didn’t FF. Thank God because all I do when scoring is make a hashtag pattern with a box cutter, it’s relatively smooth compared to what you showed. I don’t think I would have been able to connect anything the way I was planning on scoring. And I’d be spending all my time trying to remake my slip 🤣. So Thanks a bunch!
