  1. God, I love Rick Rubin, what a powerhouse of wisdom. Definitely relate to his creative astract explanations, and perspective.
Creativity is for your higher self and it’s authentic expression, not for money. If you’re doing it for that there’s no integrity. Why I never went to art school. Life experiences have proven more interesting.

  2. You people need to realize this man was never allowed to live a normal life as an adult. He is enlightened but enlightenment looks different to everyone because we all have different paths. His is not yours and yours is not mine. Hear him but do not take any one persons words as your own. As he says, follow *your* guide.

  3. He walked out on alice in chains, that shows what a fake he is, it’s unbelievable that the team doesn’t get it

  4. 10:56 follow what’s interesting to you , don’t worry about the outcome

    Follow your inner guide

( reminds if someone saying jus doing something because you like to do it )

    0:30 be yourself

  5. Recently read Rick Rubin’s book, “The Creative Act” and came away feeling refreshed in the idea that we are all truly individuals living isolated yet shared experiences within our lifetimes and art is the ultimate way of communicating to one another

  6. So many subtle yet deep insights! Thx for sharing! My definition of happiness is the moment when you reach a point where you can Say or Do whatever you want, whenever you want while staying true to yourself and adding value to society.

  7. "It’s all an offering to God." Yes. On a mushroom trip, The Spirits told me that work that is created in a spirit of LOVE is considered the highest form of art by the Divine. So, when you truly love what you do and when you create with an energy of love from your heart, your work is elevated. When we judge what people create in the 3D realm, we are really just flexing and showing our egos. The Divine sees energy and intention. Love is the greatest force in creation. ❤

  8. Something that helped me was not stopping myself from writing something I didn’t plan to. We often don’t follow through with ideas because ‘it doesn’t sound like me’ but you’re whatever you want to sound like, maybe adding in that element that seems a bit weird can make the song for you

  9. He’s living how humans actually want to live when we aren’t bound by time and money. His net worth is $300 million.

  10. the problem with the whole ‘be yourself’ is that they would preach it from one end of the world to another but the moment your belief clashes against theirs, they automatically says otherwise "yea but not this"
